Summer Weddings at King Cole Farm

If you’ve ever sat in the direct sun for a wedding ceremony—you know why mid-summer dates aren’t always the most desired. At King Cole Farm, we make sure that the weather doesn’t inhibit your celebration. 

Ceremony Space

Outdoors at the gazebo is always an option if you’re willing to brave the heat! The beautiful space is backdropped by a pond and fountain that always seems to have a blowing breeze. But don’t worry about being in the heat too long! The Garden Room is an elegant shaded waiting area for guests before the procession begins. 

If you’d like to skip the heat entirely, you can hold an indoor ceremony in the Garden Room, a picturesque pavilion with air conditioning or plenty of large windows to open. 

Cocktail Hour

Enjoy the designated Sun Porch for your cocktail hour! The enclosed space is lined with windows and doors that access the courtyard for guests who want to step outside and enjoy yard games and the warm weather. You get the best of both worlds with options for guests.

Reception Space

The Pole Barn is where the reception magic happens! The 9,200-square-foot event space can be transformed to your liking for up to 300 seated guests and is fully air-conditioned. For micro-weddings, the Garden Room also serves as a comfortable indoor reception space.

Preserving your hair and makeup for as long as possible is a top priority in the heat. Luckily, there are so many beautiful spaces for photo sessions at King Cole Farm that will keep you out of the sun, like the indoor Garden Room! Inside the Residence, you have a beautiful bridal suite and a prohibition bar that adds a unique touch to couples’ portraits or first looks. The grand staircase is also a popular spot for the bridal party to pose together or grab a few candids. 

The porch along the side of the residence is also a great spot offering shade throughout the day for garden pictures with greenery and quick access back inside for drinks and AC.

No drafty barns here! Our Garden Room and 9,200-square-foot Pole Barn have heating and air conditioning. From the ceremony to cocktail hour and the reception space, we promise you’ll stay warm. Our sun porch opens up to the courtyard with heaters and smokeless fire pits for cozy winter nights and for guests to enjoy the fresh air.
