What are your current prices?

Can I hire a wedding planner?
Absolutely! A day-of-event coordinator is required to guarantee that your special day goes just as you envision. If you haven’t found one yet, we are happy to provide a list of talented local coordinators who know our property well. Plus, when using a coordinator from our list, we pay $250 towards their fee! Some of our coordinators offer full wedding planning packages, but you are welcome to find your own!
Are other events scheduled on the same day as mine?
Nope! When you book King Cole Farm, your event is our sole focus. You’ll have exclusive access to the spaces included in your package without any outside distractions.
Can we access the Pole Barn & The Residence before the event begins?
We love giving you time to settle in! Our Weekend Package gives you access from 11am to 7pm on Fridays, 10am to 11:59pm on Saturdays, 10am to 11am on Sundays. For single-day rentals, access is limited to your 12-hour rental window on the day of the event.
What is the capacity?
The Pole Barn: Comfortably hosts up to 300 seated guests for weddings, or up to 400 for corporate trade shows and standing events.
The Residence: Perfect for intimate gatherings, hosting up to 30 guests.
The Garden Room: Can host up to 150 for events, and 250 for indoor ceremonies. For Micro-Weddings, the Garden Room hosts 70 guests.
Are all indoor spaces climate-controlled?
Yes! The Residence, Pole Barn, and the Garden Room are climate-controlled, which allows events to be held year-round comfortably.
How late can my reception go?
We request that all activities in The Pole Barn, The Residence, and The Garden Room end at 11pm (Friday/Saturday), 10pm (Sunday-Thursday).
Is there a ceremony fee?
Nope! Ceremonies are included in your wedding package.
Is Day-of Coordination included by the venue?
We provide an on-site team member during setup, the event, and breakdown to assist with property-related needs. However, they are not a wedding coordinator. For help with your timeline, decor, and personal details, we require you to hire a professional coordinator.
What is your hold policy?
We offer a 72-hour complimentary hold to allow you time to confirm your must-have vendors are available. From there, to officially secure your date on our calendar, we require a non-refundable $2,500 deposit and a signed contract.
Is the property accessible for guests with disabilities?
Certainly. The Pole Barn, The Residence, and The Garden Room are all fully ADA-compliant. We also provide a complimentary electric golf cart to assist guests with mobility issues in moving between the ceremony and reception sites.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes! We provide and set up tables and chairs for both your ceremony and reception according to your custom floor plan so that you can decorate to your heart’s desire.
Is alcohol included?
No. We have a Bottle Liquor License that allows you to purchase your own alcohol with Delaware Certified and Insured bartenders from our required list.
Are there rooms for the bridal party to get ready?
Yes! The Residence has five bedrooms, each with a dedicated bathroom, including the bridal suite for your weekend use. The Pole Barn has a Groomsmen’s Lodge, and our micro-wedding package includes two private cottages for getting ready.
Is catering included in the rental fee?
Catering is not included, which gives you the wonderful flexibility to choose a menu and price point that fits your vision! We do require you to select from our Approved Vendor List for a high-quality, professional experience.
Is parking provided?
Yes, complimentary parking is included. We also have dedicated bus parking for guests who may be staying at local hotels.
Who is responsible for setting up and tearing down my personal decor?
You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down any personal items used for your event. Oftentimes, your day-of coordinator will help arrange this.
Are candles allowed?
Yes, as long as they are contained in glass and not placed on the ground.
When is my rehearsal time?
For our weekend rentals, you have the flexibility to schedule your rehearsal anytime on Friday! For single-day rentals, rehearsals must be scheduled based on the farm’s availability.
Can we have any special effects at our wedding?
Any special effects would have to be approved by our local Fire Marshal and may require a permit; fireworks are not allowed. It is your responsibility to inform us of your intention and supply us with a copy of the acceptance and permit. Please note our proximity to the air force base, which can require additional permissions and licensure for things like drone photography.
Can we take pictures on the grounds?

Is smoking permitted on the grounds?
We do not allow smoking inside The Residence, Pole Barn, or Garden Room. We do have designated smoking stations outside. No marijuana is allowed on the property.
Do you host Special Events?
Yes! We are open to anything from charity, art, and music to personal family events, trade shows, corporate events, and more. Explore examples of events we host!
