If I could give King Cole Farm more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I honestly don't know if I can put into words how amazing not only this venue is, but the staff as well. My now husband and I toured this venue two years ago after one of my coworkers had booked here and suggested it. It was the first and only location we looked at because as soon as we toured the place, we looked at each other and said, "yeah this is it". We didn't want a formal ballroom style wedding, but we aren't the super rustic farm style wedding people either. This location was perfect. It had the casual feel of a farm wedding (as it's an actual working farm still), while still feeling elevated and formal. It was an added bonus that not only is there a house on the property that is included, but that you get the venue for the entire weekend. This allowed us a space for our rehearsal dinner, rooms for family to stay in, somewhere for the bridal party to all get ready in the morning, and a convenient central location for all of our things. This also offered peace of mind to us as we brought our 5 month old daughter with us. I felt so much more at ease at the reception knowing she was right across the parking lot in the house if she needed anything. To add to this, the addition of The Retreat on their property was amazing as well! We had our bridal party and a few close friends rent out the cabins for the weekend so everyone was close by, and that even gave us a solution to bringing our dogs as they were allowed there! Lucky for us, the Garden Room was finished just as we arrived and not a second too soon as it poured all weekend. This new building was a beautiful space to host our ceremony inside out of the weather. The pole barn for the reception is gorgeous and incredibly spacious. It also provides an area for the groomsmen to hang while the girls get ready in the morning. We unfortunately couldn't make use of the space with the weather, but outside of the pole barn there is a perfect grassy area with fire pits and corn hole that would be perfect when it's nice out. There are so many details that King Cole covered that I simply don't have the time to type it all out. There were so many personal touches that really added on to an incredible weekend. The owners, Annemarie and Jim, were simply amazing. It is evident that they truly love what they get to provide for others. This was another factor my husband and I mentioned when choosing this venue. We never once felt like we were being sold anything or pressured during our tour. We could tell how much passion there was and we felt lucky to have found such a space. Annemarie and Jim continually went above and beyond for us, including personally lending hands to ensure the Garden Room was complete the day before our wedding. They were incredibly accommodating and simply incredibly pleasant people. Rachel and Emma were also so helpful between additional tours, a multitude of questions over text, and day of coordination. While our wedding weekend was some of the worst weather of the year so far, the King Cole Farm team ensured we had the absolute best time. If I could get married again, I wouldn't go anywhere else. We absolutely loved having King Cole Farm as our wedding venue! My husband and I cannot think of anything that went "wrong" during our wedding, and that is a testament to the whole team being so thorough in their communication, vendor recommendations, pre-event planning, and the resources they provide to make your event seamless. Luckily, we had beautiful weather and could have an outdoor ceremony, but they are prepared and equipped with indoor ceremony space too, so we were not worried either way. It was huge for us that we got to do a weekend wedding package with accommodations onsite at the residence, and that we could easily decorate within our budget while still having a space that looked beautiful and elegant because of the included farm tables and furnishings. King Cole Farm is incredibly thoughtful and intentional in their event offerings and goes above and beyond a venue space, making sure you have everything you need and then some. When we were considering our options, it was a no-brainer to choose them, and they continued to prove that to us time and time again.
